Welcome to Forsaken Souls: The Cursed Artifact Escape Room.

The year is 1927. You are Detective Nathan Reed, renowned for solving the case of Hawksley Infirmary some years ago—a case that left its mark on history, and on you.

Now, you find yourself standing at the gates of Finch Estate, in the mist of an early morning. You were summoned by Victoria Finch, the daughter of Sir Richard Finch, under circumstances that were vague yet urgent.

As you step onto the polished stone of the entrance hall, Victoria greets you—her father standing just behind her. She is young, no more than 16. Her posture is tense, but she looks relieved by your presence.

- Good morning, Mr. Reed. Thank you for coming at such short notice
- Good morning, Miss Finch. Thank you for your invitation. I must admit, I was intrigued by it; you are my youngest client yet. How can I be of service?
- Our family’s heirloom has been stolen—a beautiful music box. It has been in our family for generations and it is invaluable.
- I see. What does it look like?
- It is handcrafted from black ebony wood, adorned with diamonds and sapphires. Truly one of a kind. You must find it, detective.
- Please rest assured that I’ll do everything in my power to find it and return it to you.
- Thank you, detective.
- Yes, thank you, Detective Reed, says Sir Richard, taking a few steps towards you and extending a hand—his grip firm and his demeanor one of polite authority, yet something in his eyes lingers too long.
- Let me lead you to the library; you can settle there. Our staff is at your disposal. Myself as well, of course.

As you follow him through the dimly lit corridors of Finch Estate, the scent of aged books and polished wood thickens in the air. The house is silent, too silent—and though you cannot yet place why, something tells you this case will be particularly interesting.
